Winfield Street, Rugby – Proposed One Way Traffic Order

Warwickshire County Council propose to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to impose a one-way traffic flow in a northerly direction on Winfield Street, Rugby from its junction with Clifton Road to its junction with South Street.

Proposed Traffic Calming – B4114 Coleshill Road, Ansley Common (Nursery Hill)

As part of the Safer Routes to School programme of works Warwickshire County Council is proposing to introduce a build-out on the B4114 Coleshill Road in Ansley Common to reduce vehicle speeds entering the built up area.

This proposal will provide a consistent speed limit for motorists and will help improve road safety and the environment for residents and all road users. The scheme will incorporate improved signing and road markings.

The proposal is identified in more detail on the attached plan SSZ300-720Please find attached the Public Notice formally advertising this proposal. The legal notice advertising the proposals will be on street from the 28th July 2016 for three weeks. The consultation period will run until 19th August 2016

Proposed 40mph Limit – B4114 Coleshill Road, Ansley Common (Nursery Hill)

As part of the Safer Routes to School programme of works Warwickshire County Council is to advertise a Traffic Regulation Order to reduce the existing speed limit (50mph) to a 40mph speed limit along the B4114 Coleshill Road in Ansley Common in order to facilitate making the school journey safer.

This proposal will provide a consistent speed limit for motorists and will help improve road safety and the environment for residents and all road users. The scheme will incorporate improved signing and road markings.

The Warwickshire County Council (Borough Of Nuneaton And Bedworth) (Waiting Restrictions, On-Street Parking Places And Residents’ Parking) (Consolidation) (Variation No. 11) Order 2016

Warwickshire County Council proposes to introduce/change various waiting restrictions in Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough. The proposals will be formally advertised on the 7th July 2016.
