THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, KINGSBURY AND DORDON) (50 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2018

Warwickshire County Council propose to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which would be to impose a 50 mph speed limit on the lengths of road in Kingsbury and Dordon as described in the Schedule below.

A copy of the proposed Order, together with a copy of an order to be varied, a plan showing the lengths of roads affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected at the Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick; at North Warwickshire Borough Council, South Street, Atherstone; and at the Library & Information Centre, Long Street, Atherstone during usual opening hours.

Any objections to the proposals, which must be in writing and specify the grounds on which they are made, should be addressed to Sam Hansen, Communities Group, PO Box 43, Shire Hall, Warwick, CV34 4SX. (Objections, and the name of the objector, will normally be treated as public information and may be published.) Objections must be sent so as to be received by 2 March 2018.

SCHEDULE

Trinity Road

  • That length of Trinity Road which extends from its junction with the A5 roundabout, in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 2000 metres to its junction with Edge Hill.
  • That length of Trinity Road which extends from its junction with Edge Hill, in a south- westerly direction for a distance of 735 metres (measured from the centre of that junction).

Overwoods Road

That length of Overwoods Road which extends from its junction with Trinity Road, in a north-westerly direction to the County boundary (being a distance of 415 metres).

Edge Hill

That length of Edge Hill which extends from its junction Trinity Road, in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 125 metres (measured from the centre of junction).

Whateley Lane

That length of Whateley Road from its junction Trinity Road, in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 130 metres (measured from the centre of that junction).
