WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (KIPLING AVENUE & TENNYSON AVENUE, WARWICK) (ONE WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be:-

  1. To impose a one-way traffic flow in a westerly direction on the length of road mentioned in Schedule 1 and in an northerly direction on the road in Schedule 2.
  2. To implement traffic calming under the Highways (Traffic Calming) Regulations 1999 as set out in Schedule 3.

A copy of the proposed Orders, together with a plan showing the length of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected at Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick, at the Warwick District Council, Riverside House Milverton Hill Leamington Spa CV32 5HZ and at the Public Library, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick during usual opening hours.

Any objections to the proposals, which must be in writing and specify the grounds on which they are made, should be addressed to Philip Salter, Communities Group, PO Box 43, Shire Hall, Warwick, CV34 4SX. (Objections, and the name of the objector, will normally be treated as public information and may be published.) Objections must be sent so as to be received by 17 November 2017.

  1. Two kerbed build-outs at the junction of Kipling Avenue/Tennyson Avenue.   Build-out one is approximately 6.5 metres long and 1.4 metres wide.  Build-out two is approximately 13 metres long and 1.4 metres. Build-out 1 is located on the northern side of Kipling Avenue.  Build-out 2 is located on the north-west corner of the junction Kipling Avenue and Tennyson Avenue.
  2. One kerbed build-out at the junction of Tennyson Avenue and Shakespeare Avenue.  Build-out is approximately 8 metres long and 1 metre wide.
