1.1 Warwickshire County Council is proposing to reduce the existing 60 mph speed limit on Barn End Road & Orton Road for a short length to a 30 mph speed limit on the approach to the crossroads. This will provide a buffer on the approach to the village in the vicinity of the crossroads and reduce vehicle speeds.

1.2 The scheme will involve the use of speed reducing traffic signs and road markings.

1.3 New speed limits with reduced vehicle speeds will help improve the environment for residents, pedestrians and cyclists.

(30 mph Speed Limit)

  1. Barn End Road

That length of Barn End Road from its junction with Orton Road in a south westerly direction for a distance of 70 metres.

  1. Orton Road

That length of Orton Road from its junction with Barn End Road in a westerly direction for a distance of 50 metres.
