Coleshill Parkway Bus & Cycle Gateway – Coleshill, North Warwickshire Borough: Traffic Projects

For administrative reasons, Warwickshire County Council proposes to introduce a Prohibition of Motor Vehicles (Except Authorised Buses) restriction on the section of Marconi Way at Coleshill Parkway railway station currently regulated by rising bollards.

Sherbourne Village Traffic Review – Warwick District: Traffic Projects

Following on from informal consultation carried out in April & May 2012, Warwickshire County Council has carried out a review of speed limits and weight limits in Sherbourne, Warwick District.

It is therefore proposed that a 30mph limit be introduced on Vicarage Lane, Church Road and a section of Fulbrook Lane, with a 40mph limit on Watery Lane and Old Stratford Road.

Mappleborough Green Speed Limit Review – Stratford District: Traffic Projects

Warwickshire County Council has been carrying out a review of village speed limits on rural roads. The review is part of the County Council’s Local Transport Plan, which looks at introducing lower speed limits in villages throughout the County.

It is proposed to reduce the existing speed limit in Mappleborough Green from the national speed limit to a 30mph speed limit on Pratts Lane and the residential section of Haye Lane.  In addition, it is proposed to reduce the existing speed limit on the rural section of Haye Lane to 40mph.

 The scheme will include speed reducing features such as traffic signs, village gateway features and improvements to road markings.  The new speed limit with reduced vehicle speeds will help improve the environment for residents, pedestrians, cyclists and other vulnerable road users.

Henley in Arden.

High Street.

Church Street.

This is an Administration change to the Order to ensure that the on street waiting restrictions correspond to the map based traffic order.

Warwick District – Ford Foundry Development, Leamington Spa: Traffic Projects

In conjunction with the development of the former site of the Ford Foundry in Leamington Spa, road layouts are to be altered in Myton Road, Europa Way, Prince’s Drive, Park Drive and Old Warwick Road.

To regulate traffic in line with the revised layouts and junctions, changes are proposed to reduce the speed limit to 30mph on Europa Way & Old Warwick Road, with revised waiting restrictions in all the above named roads.  In addition, one-way traffic flow is proposed on the Myton Road Service Road, along with restrictions on vehicle turning movements at the junction of Park Drive & Prince’s Drive and at the junction of Myton Road with its Service Road.

Nuneaton

Arbury Road

Restrictions are proposed to introduce an already existing of double yellow line on Arbury Road into the Consolidated Traffic Regulation Order.  Details of the location can be seen on the Arbury Road Consultation Plan.

Bermuda Park Industrial Estate

Double yellow lines are proposed on various lengths of public highway within the industrial estate in order to prevent obstructive parking.  Details of the locations can be seen on the Bermuda Park Consultation Plan

Borough Way

Restrictions are proposed to introduce two already existing lengths of double yellow line on Borough Way into the Consolidated Traffic Regulation Order.   Details of the location can be seen on the Borough Way Consultation Plan

Chesterton Drive/School Lane

Double yellow lines are proposed on these roads from their junction with Plough Hill Road in order to prevent obstructive parking.   Details of the location can be seen on the Chesterton Lane/School Lane Consultation Plan

Clinic Drive

It is proposed to introduce sections of double yellow lines in place of the existing single yellow lines together with an additional limited waiting parking bay.  This is to assist the flow of traffic through Clinic Drive at peak times.   Details of the proposed restrictions can be seen on the Clinic Drive Consultation Plan.

Cooper Street

It is proposed to introduce a new Disabled Person’s Parking Bay on Cooper Street to provide dedicated on-street parking for disabled drivers, particularly residents.  Details of the proposed restrictions can be seen on the Cooper Street Consultation Plan

Freer Street

It is proposed to introduce a new Disabled Person’s Parking Bay on Freer Street to provide dedicated on-street parking for disabled drivers, particularly residents.  Details of the proposed restrictions can be seen on the Freer Street Consultation Plan

Garrett Street

It is proposed to introduce a new Disabled Person’s Parking Bay on Garrett Street to provide dedicated on-street parking for disabled drivers, particularly residents.  Details of the proposed restrictions can be seen on the Garrett Street Consultation Plan

Triton Road

It is proposed to implement two sections of double yellow lines on Triton Road to improve access to an off-street parking and loading facility.   Details of the proposed restrictions can be seen on the Triton Road Consultation Plan

Weddington Terrace

It is proposed to introduce lengths of double yellow lines on Weddington Terrace and Old Hinkley Road.  This will include parking being prohibited on the whole length of the “inner” side of the road.  The restrictions are intended to faicitate the passage of traffic along these lengths of highway.  Details of the proposed restrictions can be seen on the Weddington Terrace Consultation Plan.
